Companion CD-ROM: board/software/linux directory

The board/software/linux directory contains the precompiled binaries of the Komodo debugger for the Linux operating system. They have been compiled with GNU C compiler version 3.2.2, GNU C library version 2.3.2, GTK library version 1.2.10, and XFree version 4.3.0, on Red Hat Linux operationg system version 9.0, with kernel version 2.4.20-28.8. This tool is used to communicate with the DSLMU Microcontroller Board and to debug your programs being run on that board. You may install this tool if you want to run it under its simulation mode. After installing Komodo, you can run it in simulation mode by typing:

kmd -e

You should consult the [PDF] An Intruduction to Komodo document before using the Komodo debugger.

Please note that the Komodo Tool is not supported for use outside the Digital Systems Laboratory!
