Companion CD-ROM: gnutools/linux directory

The gnutools/linux directory contains the precompiled binaries of the GNU Tools for the Linux operating system. They have been compiled with GNU C compiler version 2.96, GNU C library version 2.2.5, and XFree version 4.2.0, on Red Hat Linux operationg system version 7.3, with kernel version 2.4.18-3. You need to install these tools in order to compile, debug and run your programs as part of your laboratory experiments.
